Nishant Patel

Nishant Patel is an Advisor at oak9 and a seasoned executive in the software industry. Nishant has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, and they are a founding member of several successful software companies.

Nishant Patel began their career as a Senior Architect at TIBCO Software, where they worked for seven years. In 2007, they co-founded Raw Engineering, an R&D incubator that built and delivered industry-leading SaaS products. Under Nishant's leadership, Raw Engineering's MBaaS, a Digital Fan Experience Platform, won the TiE50 Award in 2013. In 2018, Built.io, Raw Engineering's iPaaS platform, was acquired by Software AG.

Nishant Patel is also an Investor and Advisor at Surfboard Ventures.

Nishant Patel has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.
