Oaknna Foundation is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit humanitarian and development organization advancing education, workforce readiness, and inclusive opportunity for marginalized Sudanese communities in Sudan and across the diaspora.

Oaknna designs and delivers programs that support youth, women, and individuals affected by conflict, displacement, and barriers to education and employment. The Foundation works to preserve human potential, strengthen resilience, and expand access to sustainable livelihoods through structured learning and mentorship pathways.

Core Programs

Art by Blind
An inclusive skills development and economic empowerment initiative supporting visually impaired artisans in Sudan. The program provides accessible training, production support, and pathways to income generation, enabling participants to build sustainable livelihoods with dignity.

Sudan Career Development, Skill Building, and Mentoring Program
A structured, multi-phase mentoring and workforce readiness program supporting displaced Sudanese youth and professionals. The program connects participants with global mentors, delivers career and digital skills training, and supports pathways to education, employment, and entrepreneurship.

Bloom: Narrative Coaching and Empowerment for Women
A Minnesota-based empowerment initiative supporting refugee and immigrant women through coaching and personal development. Bloom strengthens confidence, resilience, and economic self-reliance while supporting community integration.
