Lance Anelay

Lance Anelay is the Director of Debt Finance at OakNorth. Lance has over 19 years of experience in the banking and finance industry.

Lance started their career at HSBC in 2002 as a Commercial Manager. Lance then moved to Clydesdale Bank in 2007, where they were a Partner in Property Finance. In 2012, Lance joined Santander Corporate Banking as the Senior Director of Real Estate Finance. Lance stayed with Santander for nearly 9 years before moving to their current role at OakNorth.

Lance is a highly experienced and respected professional in the industry. Lance has a proven track record in leading and delivering complex real estate finance transactions. Lance is a strong relationship builder and has a deep understanding of the needs of both borrowers and lenders.

Lance Anelay has a postgraduate certificate in real estate investment and finance from the University of Reading. Lance also has an ACIB/BSc in financial services from the University of Manchester. In addition, they have an MSc in development practices from Oxford Brookes University. Finally, they have a BA (Hons) in modern history, economic history and politics from Royal Holloway, University of London.

Lance Anelay reports to Ben Barbanel, Head of Debt Finance. They work with Mike Page - Director, Property Finance, Hilton Foster - Director, Debt Finance (London).
