Jan Nowaczyk

Jan Nowaczyk is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Assistant General Counsel, Head of EMEA Legal, and Data Protection Officer at OANDA since May 2022. Previously, Jan held multiple roles at UBS, including Line Manager for Contracts, Employment & Corporate matters, and Data Legal EMEA, from July 2020 to April 2022. Jan's early career includes positions at Azimo, where responsibilities included Data Protection Officer and KYC Analyst, as well as Legal Support at AIP and an internship at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi. Jan's legal training includes a PhD in Political Science and State Studies from Jagiellonian University, alongside a Master's degree in Law from the same institution, complemented by a Trainee attorney-at-law certification from the Bar Association of Attorneys-at-law in Kraków.
