Rob Lamont

Rob Lamont is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Director of Information Technology at Oasis Community Learning since July 2013. In this role, Rob Lamont is accountable for the successful integration of Information Technology as a strategic resource, managing the technical solution and project delivery for a vast network supporting 35,000 users and 14,000 client devices across 54 locations in the UK. Previously, Rob Lamont held positions including Head of IT Services and Deputy Head of Group IT Services, overseeing significant infrastructure upgrades and the inclusion of new academies into the IT network. Additionally, Rob Lamont has been the Director of Operations at Oasis IT Services Ltd since February 2015, leading day-to-day operations and contributing to the establishment of this subsidiary. Rob Lamont began a career in technology as a Technical Consultant at EdICTs from April 2007 to June 2013, and holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
