Yousef Master

Yousef Master has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Yousef is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at OatFi, a seed stage Fintech company focused on creating working capital solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. In this role, Yousef directs financial product development and risk management practices.

Prior to their current position, Yousef held various roles at Capital One. Yousef was the Head of CRE Strategy, Analysis, and Transformation, where they led the planning and development of a new Commercial Real Estate (CRE) strategy to drive growth and competitive advantage. Yousef also held the position of Head of New York Multifamily and MF Transformation, managing a $7B portfolio of MF loans and driving innovation in credit underwriting.

Yousef also served as Vice President at Capital One, overseeing credit risk modeling, portfolio optimization, client profitability, and product development. Yousef built an organization to proactively manage credit risk and optimize the CRE portfolio. Additionally, they held the position of Vice President, Sales Analysis, Valuations, and Client Experience, where they directed a team supporting all commercial banking business lines and oversaw sales performance analysis.

Earlier in their career, Yousef worked as the Senior Director of Sales Analysis and Performance Management at Capital One, as well as in various roles in the Consumer Card division. In these roles, they managed associates, delivered analytical insights, and assumed P&L ownership for card partnership programs and product segments.

Before joining Capital One, Yousef had an entrepreneurial venture as the founder of Gold Leaf Roses/ Grower Direct Roses. Yousef developed the business strategy, launched the venture, and managed various aspects of the business, including marketing, operations, and profitability.

Overall, Yousef Master has extensive experience in risk management, strategy development, team leadership, and entrepreneurship.

Yousef Master has pursued their education between 1993 and 1997. During this time, they attended The Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania. At The Wharton School, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Simultaneously, at the University of Pennsylvania, Yousef also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
