Ben Black

Ben Black serves as the Executive Director at Verlinvest, an international investment company focused on consumer brands, since February 2016. In addition, Ben holds positions on the supervisory board of Tony's Chocolonely and as a board observer for Oatly and Who Gives A Crap. As Chairman of the Board at The Climbing Hangar and Series B Lead Investor for Yepoda, Ben continues to expand involvement in impactful consumer ventures. Previous experience includes a role as a board member at Genius Foods and an associate position in consumer, retail, and leisure M&A at Canaccord Genuity, where Ben worked on significant corporate finance transactions. Ben holds a first-class BA (Hons) in History from King's College London and completed secondary education at Manchester Grammar School.
