Fred Zhu holds extensive experience in research and development within the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Asia NPD Director at Oatly since July 2020, Fred previously held the position of R&D Director at Mengniu, focusing on beverage and plant-based products from January to July 2020. Prior roles include R&D Director at Silk (植朴磨坊(中国)有限公司), Senior Technical Manager in Nutrition R&D at GSK, and Technical Manager positions at DSM and Martek Biosciences. Fred began a career at The Coca-Cola Company as a Senior Food Scientist. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Food Science from Wuxi Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Fudan University.
