Rafael Maggion is an experienced professional in the coffee and finance sectors. Currently serving as Team Lead for the Southern Europe Region at Oatly since May 2022, Rafael leads the development of the Oatly Barista Edition strategy in Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Rafael also founded BCNCOFFEEAWARDS, the largest independent coffee event in Spain, and heads sales for green specialty coffee in Europe at Flor de Café. In addition, Rafael holds the position of Risk and Compliance Director at Lavoro Crédito, focusing on credit risk analysis and monitoring. Rafael's entrepreneurial spirit is further evidenced by founding COFFEE XP, a highly regarded blog about coffee in Barcelona. Rafael’s extensive career includes leadership roles at multiple companies and an academic background in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
