Sam Tan is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and project management across various companies in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as the APAC Project Director at Oatly since May 2021, Sam leads the PMO for the largest Oat Milk Green Field Factory in China. Simultaneously, Sam holds the position of Engineering Director for Asia Pacific at Griffith Foods and has been involved with Kraft Heinz as an International Manufacturing & CAPEX Engineer since October 2016. Additionally, Sam has a long tenure at HJ Heinz as the Asia Pacific Senior Engineering Manager and previously served as Project Engineering Manager at Heinz Foodstar, overseeing projects and maintenance for multiple plants. Sam earned a Bachelor's degree in Food Machinery Design and Manufacturing from South China University of Technology from 1990 to 1994.
