Gertraud Rumpold

Gertraud Rumpold is an experienced communications expert with a focus on strategic external communication in infrastructure projects. Currently serving as Expertin Externe Kommunikation at ÖBB-Infrastruktur Aktiengesellschaft since November 2020, Gertraud is responsible for initiating and managing the cross-disciplinary communication of infrastructure initiatives. Previously, Gertraud held the role of Senior Specialist in External Communication at ÖBB Infrastruktur AG, focusing on public relations for construction projects in Upper Austria from May 2015 to December 2021. Additional experience includes project management and leadership at Andrea Baidinger bauen wohnen immobilien Kommunikationsberatung GmbH and internal communication at BMW Steyr. Gertraud's academic qualifications include a PhD and a Master's degree in Publizistik und Kommunikationswissenschaft from the University of Vienna, completed between 2003 and 2015.
