Niklas Gather

Niklas Gather has extensive work experience in the field of data services and products. Niklas is currently serving as a Teamlead Dataservices & Dataproducts | Lead Datafabric at ÖBB since 2022. Prior to this role, Niklas worked at Capgemini where they held various positions including Managing Consultant, Senior Delivery Architect, and Consultant from 2018 to 2022. Niklas'sresponsibilities included change management, project management, business intelligence, data warehouse modeling, ETL development, and data visualization in the financial services industry. Before joining Capgemini, Niklas also worked as a Technical Analyst at Erste Group IT International GmbH and as an IT Consultant at FDM Group.

Niklas Gather has a strong educational background in mathematics. Niklas obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Bremen, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Niklas then continued their studies at the same university and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics from 2014 to 2017.

In addition to their academic achievements, Niklas has also obtained various certifications related to data analysis and project management. Niklas became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate in May 2020 and a Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate in November 2021. Niklas also holds the certifications of Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc., Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org, TOGAF® 9 Certified from The Open Group, IREB CPRE from Certible, and Qlik Sense Data Architect from Qlik. These certifications indicate their proficiency in different areas of data analysis, project management, and architecture.
