Oben Law and Oben Regulatory are a Jersey based law firm and a regulatory consulting company founded in September 2016.  Oben Regulatory Isle of Man was established in 2021.

Advocate David Wilson trades as Oben Law and specialises in dispute resolution, he and colleagues have considerable experience working for and against government agencies, financial services businesses and high net worth individuals across a range of issues including commercial litigation, financial services, trusts, bankruptcy and insolvency and companies and funds.  

Oben Regulatory comprises two companies, each with a unique offering and independent of any trust company business.  The team comprises lawyers, chartered accountants and individuals previously employed in senior positions at the Jersey Financial Services Commission.  The team have worked together previously assisting financial services businesses in a wide range of matters, including distressed collective investment funds, AML/ CFT policies and  procedures, corporate governance, due diligence, sanctions, risk management, remediation, anti bribery and corruption and training.
