Chuck Martens has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chuck began their career in 1993 as the VP of Sales and Operations at Overland Inc dba Smithy, where they were responsible for executive planning and management of a multi-channel, B2C direct marketing organization. During their time there, they also oversaw the implementation of international supply chain architecture for manufacturing and importing operations in China.
In 2002, Martens joined Taylor Systems Engineering as the General Manager, a role they held until 2005. Chuck then moved on to Shar Products Company, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer. In this position, Martens had responsibilities for sales and operations management in North America and APAC. Chuck also played a key role in international business development, particularly in SHAR Commercial & Trading in Beijing, China. Additionally, they were involved in supply chain architecture and implementation for the company's manufacturing and import operations in China.
Most recently, Martens joined Oberon Technologies in 2013 as the Director of Business Development.
Chuck Martens attended Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business from 1983 to 1987. Chuck obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in Transportation Logistics.
