Jonathan Watson

Jonathan Watson has a wealth of experience in software engineering and web development. Jonathan began their career in 2016 as a Marketing Manager at Outreach, Inc., where they were promoted three times in two years. In 2017, they began working as a Full Stack Web Developer Student at General Assembly and a Full Stack Web Development Teaching Assistant at Georgia Tech Professional Education. Jonathan then moved on to The Home Depot as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked to save hard costs in shipping through optimized order planning and execution. In 2019, they founded Sky Retro and worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Deluxe Rewards. Jonathan also became an Adjunct Instructor at Georgia Tech Professional Education. In 2021, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Obie and ADP.

Jonathan Watson's education history includes attending Bob Jones University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a B.A. degree. Jonathan then returned to Bob Jones University from 2009 to 2011, where they earned an M.A. degree. From 2011 to 2014, they attended Tidewater Community College and earned an A.S. degree in Business Administration. Jonathan then took courses at Udacity from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, they attended General Assembly and obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp. Additionally, Jonathan Watson has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn and HubSpot.
