Markus Junginger

Markus Junginger has worked in the IT industry since 2003. Markus began their career at mobileX AG as a Software Architect and Technical Lead of Product Development, where they worked with Java, J2EE, JEE, UML, Software Design, Software Architecture, C++, C# .NET, Windows Mobile, and Consulting. In 2006, they became a Freelancer, working as an IT Consultant, Software Architect, and Java/Android Developer, specializing in Java, Android, JEE, JSF, MySQL, Oracle, C#, .NET, SQLite, and JMS. From 2009 to 2017, they were Chief Android at greenrobot, where they developed various Android Apps and Open Source Libraries and their code was used in 30% of the top apps on Google Play. Markus currently serves as CTO at ObjectBox, where they are building the fastest mobile database and working with C++11, Java, Kotlin, and Android.

Markus Junginger earned their M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2003. Markus had previously earned their Diplom Informatiker (FH) from Hochschule Augsburg in 1998.
