Rob Mitchell

Rob Mitchell is a seasoned DevOps Engineer currently employed at Objectstream, Inc. since February 2018, specializing in automation through the development of Python libraries, AWS IaaS provisioning, containerization with Docker, and configuration management using Ansible. Prior to this, Rob spent a decade at Seagate Technology, where roles ranged from Staff Engineer to Technical Team Lead, focusing on data center automation, OpenStack deployments, and custom scripting for RESTful APIs. Earlier career experiences include positions at 21CT, Inc. as a Senior UNIX Systems Administrator, Hertz as a Senior UNIX Systems Programmer, and MCI Corporation as a Software Systems Engineer II. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University.
