Melanie Köhlert

Melanie K. is an experienced epidemiologist currently working in the Knowledge Synthesis Team at the Public Health Agency of Canada since March 2023. Prior to this role, Melanie functioned as a Research Associate at the University of Ottawa, contributing to COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness research and conducting meta-analyses. Melanie also gained valuable experience as a Practicum Student at the Public Health Agency of Canada, where Melanie synthesized literature on COVID-19 vaccination safety and variants. Additional roles include Data Analyst at Global Advantage Consulting Group, Peer Wellness Educator, Writing Consultant, and various other positions in visitor services and marketing. Melanie holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Guelph.
