Sanitha Shetty started their work experience in 2014 as an intern at Felight, where they gained initial exposure to the industry. In 2015, they joined Obopay as a Senior Software Engineer, a role which they currently hold.

Sanitha Shetty completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Science/Studies from B. M. S. College of Engineering between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, they pursued their Pre-University Education (PUC) at mes kishora kendra from 2009 to 2011, focusing on the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB). In addition to their formal education, Sanitha also obtained a certification in android app development from Felight institution in March 2014.
