Marit Midttun

Marit Midttun has extensive work experience in various roles within the banking and finance industry. Marit is currently serving as the Head of Compliance at OBOS since June 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chairman of the Board at OBOS boligkreditt from 2016 to May 2021. Marit Midttun also served as the CEO of OBOS-banken from November 2013 to May 2021. Before joining OBOS, they were responsible for establishing OBOS-banken and held the position of Head of Group Finance at OBOS from September 2011 to June 2012. Additionally, Marit Midttun gained experience in the banking sector as an Assistant Bank Manager and later as the Head of Financial Advisory at Bien Sparebank AS from 2002 to 2011. Marit started their career as a Finance Manager at Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) from 1993 to 2002, and as an Office Manager at Handelsbanken from 1988 to 1993. Marit Midttun's early experience includes serving as the Head of Corporate Credit at SpareBank 1 Kreditt AS from 1985 to 1988.

Marit Midttun completed their Master's degree in Finance and Accounting from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in the years 1981 to 1985. In 1989, they enrolled at the University of Oslo to study Corporate Law, and in 1980 they obtained an Examen Philiosophicum from the same university.
