Steffen Brørby

Steffen Brørby's work experience begins in 1998 when they joined the Norwegian Armed Forces as an Instructor, Platoon Commander, and Unit Commander. Steffen then worked as an HR Consultant at Ringerike Sykehus HF from 2006 to 2008. Following that, from 2008 to 2013, they held various roles, including Training Manager, HR Manager, and HR Advisor, at Orkla Confectionery & Snacks + Orkla Home & Personal. Steffen progressed to become HR Director at Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Norge AS from 2013 to 2019. Afterwards, they joined Orkla ASA, where they held positions as Head of HR Business Partner Program and later SVP HR Leadership, Organisation & Competence from 2017 to 2020. Their last role was SVP Group HR at Orkla ASA from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they serve as the EVP HR & Organisation at OBOS, the largest housing developer in Norway and one of the largest in Scandinavia.

Steffen Brørby received a Bachelor's degree in Management from BI Norwegian Business School in 2003-2005. Steffen also pursued Political Science as part of a Bachelor's program at the University of Oslo during the same period. Furthermore, they completed a Master's degree in Strategy and Competence Management from the University of South-Eastern Norway in 2005-2007. In order to enhance their leadership skills, they attended the Norwegian Military Academy from 1999 to 2001 and completed the Orkla Strategic Leadership Program at IMD in 2015-2016. Additionally, they attended Befalsskolen for Kavaleriet in 1997-1998, though the specific field of study is not mentioned.
