Russell Sharp

Russell Sharp is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in finance and transactions. Currently serving as Director, Transactions Attorney at Obra Capital since October 2025, Russell previously held the position of Counsel at Societe Generale, focusing on securitization and various finance transactions from November 2021 to October 2025. Prior roles include Senior Counsel at FactSet, where Russell negotiated commercial contracts, and Associate at Sidley Austin LLP, representing a diverse range of clients in finance transactions. Additional experience includes positions at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP as an Associate, as well as internships and paralegal roles in various legal settings.
