Marisa Morby is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management, research, and design. Early roles included an Environmental Communications Internship at the Virginia Beach Clean Community Commission and a coordination role at VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads. Marisa’s product management expertise was further developed at Gatsby Inc and Accenture Song, with significant contributions to scaling processes and managing products. As Staff Product/Design Researcher at Netlify and Principal at Morby & Co LLC, Marisa focused on product management and research. Additional design experience includes a UX/UI Designer role at Amer Sports Corporation, where user research and design solutions were implemented. Marisa is set to join Observable as Principal Researcher, Design & Strategy. Marisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from Virginia Wesleyan University.
