Rob Mount

Rob Mount has had a varied career in software engineering and technology. Rob began their professional career in 2000 with the United States Army, where they served as an Operations NCO and Admin NCO, and was deployed to Balad and Baqubah, Iraq with the 5th Special Forces Group. In 2007, they joined Power Innovations International Inc as an IT Manager. In 2011, they were promoted to Senior Technologist at the same company. In 2020, they joined Software Technology Group as a Senior Cloud Engineer and Practice Lead, and a Senior Java Software Engineer and Practice Lead. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at ObservePoint, a position they have held since 2022.

Rob Mount completed their Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management from Brigham Young University between 2005 and 2009. Rob then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Grantham University between 2011 and 2014. In December 2021, they obtained a certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Rob also obtained a certification as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022.
