Todd Jamison

Chief Executive Officer; Chief Scientist at Observera

Todd Jamison has worked in the technology industry for over 40 years. In 1977, they began their career as a Co-op Student at Electronic Associates, Inc. In 1981, they joined Harris Corporation as a Lead System Engineer and System Engineer. In 1989, they moved to Pacific Sierra Research as the Director of Engineering, and in 1991 they returned to Harris Corporation as a Lead Image Scientist and System Engineer. Finally, in 1995, they became the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientist of Observera, Inc., where they currently provide company leadership in both business and technical innovation, and supports US Government acquisition and use of Commercial SAR and EO imagery. Todd has developed new image processing algorithms and image-based products for US DoD and IC customers, and has worked on a number of civilian and environmental tasks including analysis of volcanic activity, emergency flood response, earthquake damage assessment, forest fire tracking and oil spill monitoring.

Todd Jamison received their BSEE in Computer Engineering and Control Systems from Virginia Tech between 1976 and 1981. Todd then went on to pursue a MSCpE in Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence from Clemson University, graduating in 1989.
