Howard Smith

Howard Smith is a managing director at First Analysis, where they coordinate investment and research in broadband-enabled businesses and specialize in information technology business models. Since joining in 1994, Howard has established several IT research franchises and has been recognized for excellence by the Wall Street Journal and other publications. They have also provided strategic advice to technology companies on capital raising and M&A transactions while serving on various boards, including observIQ and EdgeIQ. Howard earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is a certified public accountant.
