Dan Barker, PMP has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies.

Dan started their career in 2008 with the USAF as an Assistant Director of Operations/AC-130H Instructor FCO, AC-130U FCO. In this role, they served until June 2012.

From 2012 to 2013, they worked at HQ AFSOC A6 CSF/SCP "Digital Dagger", first as the Deputy Division Chief from June 2012 to April 2013, and then as the Division Chief from April 2013 to October 2013.

Dan then joined the Air Force Joint Test Program Office as the Deputy Test Director from October 2013 to October 2014, followed by the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center as the Deputy Test Director from October 2014 to July 2015.

Afterward, they worked at the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) as a Government Flight Representative from July 2015 to September 2021.

From October 2021 to March 2023, Dan Barker served as a Program Manager at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc., where they directed and executed command policies/procedures for the DoD's most classified aircraft programs. Dan led multiple aviation program teams, oversaw flight ground operations, and directly interfaced with senior military leaders, government, and industry executives.

Currently, they are associated with OBXtek since March 2023 as a Recruiter.

Dan Barker, PMP, has a diverse education history. Dan completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the University of New Orleans from 1992 to 1996. In 2008 to 2010, Dan pursued a Master's degree in Military Operational Art and Science at Air University, Maxwell AFB. Dan furthered their education with a Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Studies from American Military University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. In 2013 to 2014, Dan attended National Defense University, specializing in IT Acquisition and Project Management.

In addition to their formal education, Dan Barker has obtained several certifications. Dan became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in July 2021. Dan also acquired additional certification as a Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) from the same institute in January 2014. Moreover, they gained expertise as a Six Sigma Lean/DFSS Green Belt Certified professional through the Aveta Business Institute in March 2014.

Apart from these certifications, Dan Barker has also acquired other qualifications. These include being a Contracting Officer's Representative (FAC-COR) and achieving DAWIA Program Management Level I and DAWIA Test and Evaluation Level I certifications from the Defense Acquisition University. Furthermore, they obtained the Flight Safety Officer qualification from the Air Force Safety Center.
