Obys is a concept-driven design studio based in the EU, founded by Olha Olianishyna and Viacheslav Olianishyn in 2018.

The studio creates award-winning brand and web experiences shaped by storytelling, typography and strong visual direction. Drawing on modernist design principles and graphic design tradition, Obys combines typography, grid systems and motion to build digital environments that balance clarity, usability and bold visual expression.

Operating as an intentionally small team, the studio maintains close creative involvement in every project. Over the years, Obys has collaborated with brands including CNN, Porsche, Hilton, Miro, Makhno, and Glyphic Biotechnologies.

The work has been recognised internationally, including Studio of the Year 2023 by Awwwards, four Studio of the Year titles from CSS Design Awards, and Red Dot Best of the Best recognition.

Beyond client work, the studio actively contributes to the design community through public talks, research and education, including the Design Education Series platform.

Obys takes on a limited number of projects each year, partnering with founders and marketing leaders who value authorship, clarity, and long-term brand impact.
