Edwin Liava'A

Edwin Liava'a is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in GIS, Web3 technology, and digital skills development across various sectors. As the Founder of Pasifika, Edwin is creating the first Web3 marketplace for Pacific Islanders. Currently serving as a GIS Specialist (International Expert) at OCA GLOBAL, responsibilities include disaster risk resilience projects in the Federated States of Micronesia. As Chairman of the Board at Tonga Cable Ltd, oversight of strategic initiatives is provided. Previous roles include GIS Team Leader at Kahuto Pacific, Satellite Communication Consultant at Dialectica, and Corporate Development Director at Kacific Broadband Satellites Group, where significant contributions were made to broadband expansion in the Pacific. Edwin holds a Master's degree in Geographical Information Systems from Lund University and a Bachelor's in Computing Science and Information Systems from The University of the South Pacific.
