Joanne Walker

Joanne Walker is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in the corporate tax domain. Currently serving as Director of Tax and Managed Services and Group Head of Tax at Ocado Group since September 2021, Joanne has previously held significant roles, including Group Tax Director and Director of Tax Operations at BT from March 2017 to September 2021. Prior to this, Joanne was a Tax Director at Deloitte from October 2006 to March 2017, specializing in corporate tax compliance. Joanne's earlier career includes working as a Tax Director at KPMG, where a major achievement involved leading a multi-location tax compliance outsourcing project and contributing to a project for HMRC focused on administrative burden reduction. Joanne's foundational experience in tax legislation was gained at HM Revenue & Customs, and earlier positions included roles at P&O Cruises and PwC. Education includes FCA certification from ICAEW and an MA Hons in Law from the University of Cambridge.
