(OCAPICA) was established in 1997 with the mission to build a healthier and stronger community by enhancing the well-being of Asians and Pacific Islanders through inclusive partnerships in the areas of service, education, advocacy, organizing, and research.  These community-driven activities seek to empower Asians and Pacific Islanders to define and control their lives and the future of their community.

The Program Management team at OCAPICA is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of community-focused programs that align with the organization’s mission. This team coordinates resources, manages partnerships, and ensures that initiatives effectively address the needs of the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. By leveraging inclusive practices and strategic planning, the team works to enhance community well-being and advocate for sustainable change.

Program Management

The Behavioral Health Services team at OCAPICA focuses on providing culturally sensitive mental health support to Asian and Pacific Islander communities. They work to enhance access to mental health resources, offer counseling and therapeutic services, and engage in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness and reduce stigma around mental health issues. Through these efforts, they aim to empower individuals and families to achieve better mental health and overall well-being.
