Gary Pl Chong

Gary PL Chong is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Group Operational Risk Management at OCBC since December 2022. Gary's career includes significant roles such as Managing Director for Non-Financial Risk Management at ING and various leadership positions in risk analytics at Credit Suisse, UBS, Standard Chartered Bank, and DBS Bank. Additionally, Gary contributes to academia as an Advisory Committee Member and Adjunct Lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and has served as an External Examiner for the Banking & Finance Diploma. Gary holds an EMBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, completed between 2005 and 2007.
