Oliver Kumaran is a seasoned professional in sustainability with extensive experience across multiple organizations. From November 2009 to June 2015, Oliver served as Senior Executive for Sustainability at Sime Darby Berhad, followed by a role as Senior Project Manager, Sustainability at Proforest from July 2015 to December 2019. Subsequently, Oliver was the Assistant Vice President of Sustainable Finance at CIMB from December 2019 to April 2021, before leading sustainability efforts at Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad as Head of Sustainability from May 2021 to October 2024. Currently, Oliver holds the position of Executive Director, Head of Sustainability in the Strategy & Transformation Office within the Chairman and GCEO's Office at OCBC since November 2024. Responsibilities have included developing and implementing ESG frameworks, sustainability disclosures, and stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with industry standards.
