Simon Chong

Simon Chong is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in treasury, operations, and financial control across various leading financial institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Treasury Financial Control and Advisory at OCBC since January 2022, Simon leads a team of 16 product controllers focusing on surveillance controls for Global Markets trading. Previous roles include leadership positions at CIMB-Principal Asset Management, United Overseas Bank, and Hong Leong Bank Berhad, among others, where Simon managed regional finance teams and oversaw substantial operational units. Simon's career began at KPMG Singapore and PwC Malaysia as an Audit Senior, showcasing a strong foundation in audit and regulatory reporting. Simon holds an ACCA qualification in Accounting and Finance.
