Tan Wing Ming

Mr Tan Wing Ming was appointed Regional General Manager of North East Asia and the Chief Executive of OCBC Bank Hong Kong branch since September 2009.

In this role, he assumes oversight of the bank’s branches in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. In November 2016, he was promoted to Executive Vice President. Mr Tan joined OCBC Bank in January 2005 as Senior Vice President and Country Head of OCBC Bank’s operations in China. Following the local incorporation of OCBC Bank in China in July 2007, he was appointed Director and President of OCBC Bank (China) Limited until his current role. Mr Tan had worked for major American and European investment and commercial banks in Singapore for 10 years. He then started and managed his own private business in China for 11 years before joining OCBC Bank. Mr Tan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) with Honours from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Chicago.
