Tharani Maniam

Tharani Maniam is an experienced professional in the field of Learning and Development with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the AVP of Learning & Transformation at OCBC since July 2023, Tharani has previously held the position of Manager, Learning & Development at Hong Leong Bank Berhad from November 2019 to July 2023, focusing on talent management. Prior to that, Tharani worked at GP Strategies Corporation from August 2014 to November 2019 as a Learning Consultant for several Southeast Asian countries, and as a Senior Learning Officer specializing in learning reporting and data analysis. Tharani began the journey at HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad as a Learning Officer from August 2013 to August 2014, after an internship that provided support for learning management in group projects. Tharani holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universiti Malaya, earned between 2010 and 2014.
