Yu Ren Tan

Yu Ren Tan is currently a Technical Lead and Microservices Engineer (Core Services) at OCBC Bank, where they focus on reshaping digital infrastructure and enhancing system resiliency. With notable experience in microservices architecture, Yu Ren has driven transformative efforts, including channel segregation for consumer and corporate internet banking platforms and orchestrating bankwide Disaster Recovery exercises. Prior to their role at OCBC, they held positions including Manager and Assistant Manager in microservices engineering, and they worked as a technology intern at Shell. Yu Ren holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, where they graduated with First Class honors.
