Andy Wright

Andy Wright, GISP, has extensive experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and environmental management, spanning several roles since 2005. Currently a Senior GIS Advisor at Oxy since August 2019, Andy previously held positions at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation as a Staff Spatial Data/Geoscience Analyst, and at Encana Corporation as a Spatial Data Analyst (Contract). Additional relevant experience includes roles as a Geospatial Data Analyst at the Bureau of Land Management, geological and geotechnical analyst positions at Sundance Energy and Newfield Exploration, and various GIS specialist roles at Fidelity Exploration and Production Company and Pacific Western Technologies. Andy began a career in GIS and environmental science after earning a Master of Science in GIS/Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management/Health Science from Ball State University.
