Eric Abbe is an Automation Leader in Telecommunications at Oxy, where they lead the EOR Automation SCADA System Team responsible for the installation and maintenance of automation communication network infrastructure and integration projects. A graduate of Texas Tech University, Eric has held various roles in the field, including Automation Communication Specialist and EOR Automation Team Lead at Oxy, as well as Oilfield Automation Specialist at Danos. Prior to these positions, Eric served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army, managing a squad and overseeing cable and satellite communication systems. Eric’s diverse experience also includes work as a Broadband Technician II at Suddenlink Communications and in construction.
