John Willis

John Willis is currently the VP of Technology Ventures at Occidental, where they explore innovative companies and technologies. They began their career at Exxon before starting their own business, learning valuable lessons in product creation and marketing. After developing and licensing software for several oil companies, John re-entered the corporate world, eventually managing drilling operations and serving in various leadership roles at Occidental. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and a Commercial-Instrument rated pilot.
