Patrick Carson is a Structural Integrity Engineer and Subject Matter Expert currently leading the Structural Integrity Team at OXY, focusing on the development of structural integrity programs for offshore facilities. With extensive experience in structural engineering, Patrick has performed linear and nonlinear evaluations for various oil and gas projects and conducted numerous inspections of both onshore and offshore facilities. Previously, at Energo Engineering, Patrick served as the Fixed IM Group Lead/Principal Consultant, managing engineering projects and designing structural health monitoring systems for wind turbines. Patrick earned a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Delaware, where they also worked as a Research Assistant, contributing to multiple structural health monitoring initiatives.
