Sushmitha C.

Sushmitha C. is a Senior Facilities Engineer at Oxy, with a tenure beginning in March 2019, following a position as a Facilities/Process Engineer at BHP from July 2014 to February 2019, supporting both Upstream and Midstream Operations teams across Eagleford and Permian assets. Sushmitha also contributed as a Process Engineer on the Permian Field Development Team. Earlier experience includes tutoring at the Cockrell School of Engineering and serving as a Process Safety Engineering Intern at BP, where Sushmitha supported the Thunder Horse Water Injection Phase I process safety team and developed a close-out report for project information transfer. Additional intern experience with BP involved process engineering at the Gulf of Mexico Platform, Holstein, where significant exposure to simulation software was gained. Sushmitha holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2014.
