Dan Daly

CEO and Founder at Occuity

Dan Daly has extensive experience in the field of optical metrology and the broader optoelectronics industry. Dan worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory from 1982 to 1998. Following that, they worked as a Product Manager at Leister Process Technologies from 1999 to 2001. Dan then joined PerkinElmer Optoelectronics as a Business Development Manager from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2019, they served as the CEO of Lein Applied Diagnostics, where they utilized their expertise in optical metrology and manufacturing techniques for micro-optical components. In 2019, Dan Daly founded Occuity and currently serves as its CEO and Founder.

Dan Daly completed their B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Southampton between 1985 and 1988. Dan then pursued an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, graduating in 1999. Afterward, they furthered their education at King's College London, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Micro-optics. Unfortunately, specific details about their time at Raines Foundation School are unknown. Earlier in their education, Dan attended Cubitt Town from 1970 to 1974.
