Barbara Blake

Barbara Blake is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Native and rural affairs, currently serving as Vice President for the Arctic at Ocean Conservancy since April 2024. Previously, Barbara held the position of Director at the Alaska Native Policy Center with First Alaskans Institute from June 2019 to May 2024. Key prior roles include Director of Native and Rural Affairs in the Office of Governor Bill Walker and Government Affairs Liaison for the Central Council Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. Barbara has also worked at the Intertribal Agricultural Council as a Technical Assistant, providing crucial support to tribal governments in Alaska regarding USDA programs.
