David Mecher

David Mecher is an experienced professional in administrative and legislative roles, currently serving as Executive Assistant to the Chief People & Culture Officer at Ocean Conservancy since June 2022. Prior experience includes working as Executive Assistant to the President and Legislative Director at EARTHDAY.ORG, along with roles at the U.S. House of Representatives, Intercontinental Exchange, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Mecher's responsibilities have encompassed legislative correspondence, political assistance, and constituent services. A graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Urban and Regional Analysis, David has demonstrated a commitment to public service and strategic legislative efforts.
