Michael LeVine serves as the Senior Director for Alaska Programs at Ocean Conservancy since September 2017, where responsibilities include building partnerships with Alaska Tribes and Indigenous organizations, addressing marine debris in the Arctic, and tackling climate change and plastic pollution. Previous experience includes roles as Pacific Senior Counsel at Oceana, where significant campaigns were led to protect the Arctic Ocean, and as an attorney at Earthjustice and Creative Answers, focusing on environmental litigation and advocacy. Michael LeVine holds a J.D. and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.
