Ocean Conservancy
Sarah Beiderman serves as the Chief of Staff at Ocean Conservancy since June 2022, previously holding the same position at Friends of the Children from June 2012 to June 2022. Throughout this decade-long tenure, Sarah functioned as a strategic thought partner, facilitating cross-departmental workflows and empowering organizational performance. Sarah's extensive experience includes roles such as Director of Innovation and Director of Advancement at Friends of the Children, in addition to positions as Expansion Fund and Grants Manager, Strategic Business Analyst, and Board Liaison/Executive Assistant. Prior to this, Sarah worked at Portland State University as an Office Specialist and managed the SPACES World Artists Program at SPACES Gallery. Early career experiences include serving as an Education Assistant at the Cleveland Museum of Art and a Communications Intern at Catalyst: For Cleveland Schools. An academic background includes an M.B.A. focused on Executive Nonprofit Management from the University of Portland, a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Religion from Oberlin College, and additional studies at Universitat d'Alacant.
