Whitney Berry

Whitney Berry serves as the Associate Director of Climate Policy at Ocean Conservancy since February 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Manager in the same domain. Prior experience includes roles at the California Ocean Protection Council as Climate Change Program Manager and CA Sea Grant Fellow in Climate Change Policy from January 2018 to February 2021. Whitney was a Marine Project Officer at IUCN and held a position as a Junior Associate at Earthmind. Earlier experience includes a Marine Conservation Intern at OneReef, a Conservation and Science Research Assistant at Monterey Bay Aquarium, a Watershed Associate at Carmel River Watershed Conservancy, and a Marine Science Educator at Texas State Aquarium. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Environmental Policy with a focus on Ocean and Coastal Resource Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Resource Conservation and Environmental Analysis from San Diego State University.
