Patrick Barrett

Patrick Barrett is an experienced finance executive with a robust background in the banking sector. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at OceanFirst Bank since June 2022, Barrett has previously held CFO positions at First Midwest Bancorp, Inc., Fulton Financial Corporation, and SunTrust Bank. Notably, Barrett also contributed to SunTrust in the roles of CFO of the Wholesale Bank and Senior Vice President overseeing Bank Controller and Finance Risk Officer functions. Prior to these roles, Barrett was a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase, where responsibilities included corporate finance, investor relations, and regional financial oversight across Asia Pacific. Barrett began his career at Deloitte as a Partner, specializing in the financial services industry. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and MBA candidacy in Finance from Georgia State University.
