Alex James

Alex James has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Alex started their career as a Deck Cadet at Zodiac Maritime in 2009 and worked there until 2012. In 2012, they joined North Star Shipping as a 2nd Officer for a brief period. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at Swire Pacific Offshore, initially as a 2nd Officer DPO and later as a Chief Officer SDPO. Most recently, Alex James has been working at Ocean Infinity as the Chief Officer SDPO since 2022.

Alex James attended Llantarnam Comprehensive School from 2003 to 2009, where they earned their GCSEs. Later, they pursued a higher education at Blackpool and The Fylde College from 2009 to 2012, earning their HND Nautical Science degree in the field of Marine industry. In 2018 and 2019, they returned to Blackpool and The Fylde College to obtain their Chief Mate Unlimited degree.
